| Fantasma Bogotá is a distinctive gastrobar located at Carrera 7 #72-77 in Bogotá, Colombia. It combines live music—primarily jazz—with a culinary offering rooted in Southern U.S. "soul food." The space was founded by Colombian musician and composer Juan Riveros as a tribute to the sounds and emotions of his childhood. The name "Fantasma" ("Ghost") refers to the musical spirits of the past that the venue seeks to evoke through its ambiance and performances. | ||||
|
Culinary Focus Fantasma's kitchen is led by American chef KC Schmitz, who curates a soulful menu with southern comfort flavors. Highlighted dishes include: Cornbread: Homemade cornmeal bread with sriracha butter. Chicken and Waffles: Maple-glazed chicken leg quarter with chicken jus, waffle, and pickled watermelon rind. Banana Pudding: Banana caramel panna cotta with vanilla cookie and whipped cream. The bar is curated by Polish mixologist Konrad Kaczmarzyk, a previous winner of World Class Colombia. Signature cocktails are inspired by iconic songs and musicians, such as the "Purple Rain" cocktail. | |||
